About the Instructor
BCA Certified Instructor Chris O'Donnell
Chris is a retired trial attorney who has been fascinated with the game of pool since the age of ten. He is a two-time ACU-I Southwest Regional champion (intercollegiate), advancing to the national finals in 1980 and 1982. He has taught pool to many friends and acquaintances over the past 40 years, and is a graduate of two Billiard Congress of America (BCA) master academies, qualifying as a Recognized Instructor in 2003, and as a Certified Instructor in 2006.
Chris is currently House Professional at Slate Street Billiards in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where he teaches private lessons and clinics. He has written a number of instructional articles, including a series on fundamentals entitled "The Mechanics of Playing Pool" and his second series on the art of running out entitled "Shot Making and Position Play."
